MutualArt.com for all your Food and Art Fantasies
I keep loving the connection between food and art, there’s just so much to excite the senses with! And so much out there I don’t know about (which is why I find my blog so challening, but in a good way…)
Although not entirely about food and art, the website www.MutualArt.com provides a good resource to locate more art for lunch material.

For instance, their search tool is great. If I search “art food” I get a listing of recent and past articles that all have to do with fun food and art articles or subjects. This includes on topics such as “Matters of Taste: Food and Drink in Seventeenth-Century Dutch Art and Life”, “Food in art: the delight of the eye and the table,” Art Review; Food: Subject, Symbol, Metaphor
I’m getting so many blog post ideas! Anyways the point is that this is a really cool website that somehow has gathered one huge database of articles all pertaining to the arts. So it’s a one stop and shop- just what the art world needs.
It also lets you know of events in your city, as you can create a personalized profile like facebook - you pick your preferences of artists, art history, medium, geographic location, and more. It then lists articles, events, and venues pertaining to your preferences so you don’t have to scroll down a bunch of boring articles you don’t want to read anyway- it’s awesome.
