Art For Lunch

According to Squidoo.com, Bento is an art form for packing lunches in the Japanese culture. The Japanese have taken the act of packing a lunch or meal to a whole different level.

Because Bento Boxes come in many different styles: they contain compartments that can either be the same or different sizes AND the boxes themselves come in various materials / themes and shapes, there is a lot that can be created and crafted.

So interesting!

All I got as a child was a brown bagged lunch (with an occasional smiley face drawn on the outside).
